DOES THIS TASTE FUNNY?
Deconstructing a chef’s journey from food to comedy

Ali Hassan’s career plans started off as simply as anyone’s: to become a chef, host a food show on television, and have a line of oven mitts with his face on them. But sometimes things get in the way of your dreams: like your parents’ disappointment, your accelerated family of four children and your successful comedy career.

A terrific blend of humour and insight, DOES THIS TASTE FUNNY? is a hilarious, heart-warming One Man Show based around Ali’s decade working in the food industry, his connection to fine cuisine, and his struggles with over-eating.

Our Brockville audience will also be treated to some stories from Ali Hassan’s comedic memoir, ‘Is There Bacon In Heaven?’.
